A Glorious Cold Dawn

Well here it is, another early Sunday morning.  It’s -3 F with a wind chill approaching -36F.  The dogs have been out for their morning constitutional already.  A bit abbreviated, as the puppy kept getting leg cramps.  The Grand Ole Pup (14 yrs old) she was none too excited about going very far or long this morning either.  But, that’s ok it’s not a good day to be out.

As you might expect the dawn this morning is glorious.  A deep orange glowing band on the clear horizon.  As I have written this it has made it’s way into a pale pink shade.  Not a cloud, or wisp there of, to be seen anywhere.  As much as I dislike being cold, I love mornings like today (so far).
